Magenta
Magenta, named after the Milanese neighborhood, home to a historic Fratelli Rossetti boutique, distinguishes itself due to its famous stirrup.
Created in 1975 as ankle boot for men and women, the feminine version immediately became an emblem of mannish style. Magenta went on to evolve in new "Codes": menswear inspired elements acquired new shapes, becoming an expression of a strong and self-assured femininity.
The stirrup, sharp lines and characteristic textures of men’s designs, are transferred onto the heels, reinventing the paradigms of womenswear.
